Singapore based Lightbulb Capital was founded in 2014 in Hong Kong to help realize the potential of innovation and novel technologies to transform financial services. The company is a corporate finance boutique with focus on FinTech and Blockchain. The firm helps clients with early-stage fund raising including selective seed investment. The two principals use their combined experience of over 50 years in investment banking, technology and entrepreneurship to help founders successfully launch their ventures through genuine partnership and engagement. They leverage a global network of financial institutions, investors and growth companies to find capital, business partners and customers for clients.

The Innovation Education arm offers executive training focused on the critical areas of innovation culture, creativity and design thinking as well as FinTech and Blockchain to help all stakeholders in multinational companies understand the impact of technology on their own businesses and to embrace change. These consist of highly recommended programs, individually tailored and delivered at the clients' premises, in partnership with leading universities or through webinars or online learning modules that can scale globally.

Role Description

This role is a junior and important appointment to the Lightbulb Capital team, duties include but are definitely not limited to:

​

• Research and create (marketing) content with focus on FinTech and Innovation in Finance in Asia

• Contribute to the development of our Social Media strategy

• Assist with the implementation of a new CRM system

• Attend FinTech events to gather market insights locally in Hong Kong

• Contribute to interesting project work to define how financing of small and medium sized corporate and other entities will be done in the future - with the use of Tokenization technology

• Support Management with administration duties

Desired Skills/Experience

• Bachelors Degree

• 0-2 years of relevant working experience

• Keen interest in FinTech, Digital Assets, Tokenization, Blockchain Technology and Financial Inclusion

• Strong analytical, critical thinking capabilities

• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills

• Drive, enthusiasm and creativity

• Personal integrity and initiative

• Ability to multi-task and manage tight timelines

• Good command of English language, Chinese skills a big plus

• Team player

• Proficient with the use of technology
